The Wood - The floristry leads you to Expect The Unexpected
When you venture into The Woods, it comes with diversity, from a delicate floral table centre piece to flowery sculpture, from extravagant fashion shows to understated corporate events, be that outdoor or indoor, yet for both serenity and amazement of your life.
When you explore The Woods, its vivaciousness comes with its craft and technique. Your floral journey will be guided by the founder Edward Wan. By mastering the arts and crafts using flowers imported from Holland, LED walls, laser cutting, digital printing and 3D mapping, he makes dreams a reality, just as “Alice in Wonderland” for Kelly & Kingston Chu, and “Roman de la Rose” for Irene & Karson Choi.
With our tailor-made floral odysseys in Maldives, Koh Samui, Mainland China and Macau, The Wood extends its branches to overseas wedding design, juxtaposing grandeur with details.
Our residencies in Four Seasons Hong Kong, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong, The Ritz-Carlton, Intercontinental Hotel Hong Kong, Wynn Macau, empowers The Wood to grow on the soil of five star quality.
Our presence among Chanel, Piaget, Mont Blanc, Frank Muller, enables The Wood to uplift the calibre in beauty, adapt and adopt ever-changing trends across the globe.
With our extensive exposure in the fashion field and commercial world, The Wood is where you can unearth memorable moments of your life -- whether it is a private or corporate event -- with a hint of floral scent, working as an accent or a bless.
Edward Wan founded his floral business The Wood in 1999. Trained in graphic designed in Toronto, he is equipped with an eye for refined aesthetics and practical sensibility. He applies these skills into The Wood, just as what English poet Thomas Hardy wrote in Under the Greenwood:
“To dwellers in a wood, almost every species of tree has its voice as well as its feature.”
Edward alchemizes his love of nature, passion in fashion and interior design into his oeuvre. He also has the natural talent of breathing life into his work, by drawing inspirations from various cultural references, such as Great Gatsby, Shanghai Tang, French Chateau, Alice in Wonderland.
The Wood — To Expect The Unexpected
